Senator for Economic Affairs Franziska Giffey visited B.I.G. as part of her business tour of Marzahn-Hellersdorf to gain insights into local companies and explore potential support opportunities. She took the time to get to know up-and-coming technology companies on campus, including Scansonic MI GmbH, Lumics – We manufacture diode lasers, GEFERTEC and Escarda. The reunion with RooWalk, a start-up that develops mobility aids for children with walking disabilities, was particularly special. The senator remembered the founders Benjamin Pardowitz and Maria Enge and followed their development since the beginning two years ago. They are now part of the B.I.G. community and are making progress with their prototype.
