Lecture at Berlin University of Applied Sciences

What does it take to make a digitization project a success? Our colleagues Tom Lueders, Katrin Robeck and Dennis Hirschka talked about this last week at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences.

In a block seminar on digital innovation by Prof. Dr. Jan Wirsam, our speakers introduced B.I.G. and showed how large digitization projects can be managed in a group of companies. It is not only to ensure economic efficiency with a functioning infrastructure, but also to provide tools that enable creativity and efficient work.

Our basic success factors:

  1. Enthusiasm among colleagues – a project that no one wants is doomed to fail from the outset.
  2. A good, existing process – if the processes are not in place or do not work in analog, there is no need to start digitizing.
  3. Competence – expertise and know-how are essential, if they are not available internally, we have to buy in externally

Our three “lecturers” were enthusiastic about the committed participants who study part-time and bring their inspirations from everyday work for digital solutions. And who knows, maybe a future employee was among the audience 😉
