In 2000 Igor started with his company, Scansonic. It was to become the nucleus of B.I.G. and today is one of the leading manufacturers of laser processing optics. In his laudatory speech, LVBB Managing Director, Thomas Beck, recognized Igor’s commitment to laser materials processing from the very beginning. With his “outstanding commitment, wealth of ideas and founding spirit”, he had made a significant contribution to the promotion of laser technology and the creation of innovative jobs.

The award was accepted on behalf by Tom Lüders, Managing Director of the Berlin.Industrial.Group.
